Former minisoft sales leader returns after eight years helping law firms and legal teams at Thomson Reuters, bringing deep knowledge of the legal market to lead the company's revenue growth.

The minisoft team is delighted to announce the appointment of James Fox as Chief Revenue Officer. James rejoins minisoft after eight successful years at Thomson Reuters, serving legal teams with its flagship products Practical Law, Westlaw and CoCounsel.

For minisoft, this is something of a homecoming, as James first joined in 2017 as Commercial Manager, working with international law firms, now returning to lead minisoft's revenue strategy.

Across two spells and more than a decade at Thomson Reuters, James has built relationships with many of the world's leading law firms. He understands the commercial pressures they face from every side of the table.

"Minisoft has always held a special place for me. I've seen first-hand what ARCS does for a firm's cash flow.
I'm thrilled to rejoin at such a pivotal time. We have the backing of CORA Legal Group and Constellation Software, and we will soon be unveiling our brand-new product, ARCS Meridian, which is set to deliver a new high point in legal cash collection.
I see this as a huge opportunity to bring more firms the cash flow certainty they need.
My actions and approach will always have our customers’ best interests at heart. I will ensure our clients receive maximum value from minisoft.
I’d like to thank the minisoft team for putting their trust in me. I’m honoured to be part of this journey.

Building on a Year of Momentum

James's appointment caps a defining year for minisoft. In March 2026 the company joined CORA Legal Group, a portfolio of specialized legal technology companies backed by Constellation Software (TSX: CSU). In April, Richard Roy was appointed Chief Executive Officer.

As Chief Revenue Officer, James will work closely with our CEO, supporting our clients worldwide and driving minisoft’s growth.

"During his previous time at Minisoft, James was instrumental in building our international presence. When we began shaping the company’s next chapter, he was the first person we thought of to lead our global revenue strategy. He knows our clients, understands the legal market and brings the commercial leadership and ambition to drive our next phase of growth."
